Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN): Details
The Central Government has launched PM Kisan Yojana to help farmers with annual income of Rs 6000. PM Kisan Yojana will provide money to eligible farmers in 3 equal installments of Rs 2000 each. Every four months, the central government transfers money directly into the bank accounts of farmers who have applied for PM Kisan Yojana.
Eligibility Criteria for PM-Kisan Scheme
Farmers who want to apply for PM Kisan Yojana must fulfill the following requirements.
- The benefits of PM Kisan Yojana will be available to those farmers who are Indian citizens.
- Farmers who do not have sufficient land can apply for PM Kisan Yojana.
- The farmer does not have any other pension amounting to more than Rs 10000.
- Farmers who are lawyers, engineers, doctors and CAs cannot apply for PM Kisan Yojana.
